The first regular session of the month is held at the Wheelwright’s Arms in Pencombe and the next event will be on Tuesday 2nd October.
The pub has recently changed hands but former landlord Colin has only moved next door and is often present to make sure his impeccably high standards are maintained!
It’s possibly the most laid back and traditional of the local sessions and you can expect 5 to 10 performers to be there. There are usually 3 real ales on offer including Timmy Taylor’s Landlord and Adnams Broadside.

Reply to David’s comment – session usually kicks off around 8.30, maybe a bit earlier if sufficient numbers there. Tony’s average attendance figures are accurate. This month there were six of us -small, but a good chance to try out new material.
Tuesday 6th November – there was a good turn out for the session with 12 performers. Big log fire burning, and plenty of ordinary customers in the pub. After low turn-out in October had wondered if the session was in decline.
