The "Rosie" is a Bromyard institution. Owned by the Wye Valley Brewery it is hugely popular with locals and visitors alike and deservedly so.
There is a live music session there every Sunday starting around 8.30. Whereas most of the other sessions mentioned here are mainly populated with performers with the odd interested onlooker the Rosie session can be quite different.
Usually there are more locals than players and this makes it a different type of session. Whereas often the first hour or so is dedicated to quiet, folky music the later evening can become more raucous with the people in the pub demanding livelier fare – whether pub Irish or Rolling Stones!
But it can be great fun!
