Thursday August 12 – Saturday 14 August – Worcester Beer Festival 2010 on Pitchcroft (Worcester Racecourse). See www.worcestercamra.org.uk/beerfest for full details. Music on Friday and Saturday (daytime and evening).
Friday August 20 – Sunday 22nd – Worcester Music Festival 2010. Over 200 bands and performers at 30 plus venues city-wide. Further information and updates at www.wmf2010.co.uk
Folk events at Tudor House Heritage Centre and The Guildhall. Three folk workshops – ‘Beginner’s Flute’ on Saturday 21st August at Tudor House with Phil Cross (East West Infusion) from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon - only NINE of TEN places now available : ‘Beginner’s Bodhran’ on Sunday 22nd August at Tudor House Heritage Centre with Cormac Byrne of Uiscedwr from 11.00am to 12.00 noon – only maximum THIRTEEN of FIFTEEN places now available : ‘Folk Fiddle’ for intermediate/advanced violinist(fiddlers) at Tudor House Heritage Centre with Anna Esslemont of Uiscedwr from 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm – only FIVE of TEN places remaining.
