Mumbo-Jumbo Returns to Bromyard

mumbo-jumboTop piano-led, close-harmony singer songwriting acoustic trio Mumbo-Jumbo bring their ‘Acoustic Vaudeville’ Show to The Conquest Theatre Foyer, Bromyard on Saturday 30 September.

Playing regularly across the country at festivals, blues and folk clubs and village hall shows, eclectic double British Blues Awards nominees Mumbo-Jumbo not only create excellent, interesting songs with three lead voices, but also a whole utilise a whole flock of instruments including piano, accordion, bass, trumpet, ukulele, guitar, washboard, kazoo and percussion.

Mumbo-Jumbo sits somewhere between blues, folk and jazz with tinges of reggae and whatever else takes their fancy on the night. With songs about old soldiers, baldness and the joy of life the guys bring humour and fun to the performance. Tracks from the trio’s 2016 album ‘Sonic Gumbo’ has featured widely on the radio.
