He’s been described as “a complete guitarist,” “a singer songwriter of rare talent” and “absurdly accomplished.” He’s toured with John Renbourn’s Ship of Fools, traditional singer Maggie Boyle, in WAZ!, with Maartin Allcock and Pete Zorn, Ballet Rambert, A Transatlantic Song-Swap with Brooks Williams and with his daughter Martha. He’s the writer of the classic The Slipjigs and Reels, The Naked Highwayman and Here’s to Tom Paine and his songs have been covered by a who’s who of the folk scene.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy a superb talent in the intimate surroundings of Bromyard’s medieval hall at the Falcon Mews.  If you already know Steve you won’t take much persuading to come along. If you don’t know his work then don’t wait any longer.

I count so many of Steve’s songs among my favourites it’s impossible to pick just a couple, but here goes …

Another favourite, this time on the Jools Holland Show:

It’s a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s best performers in little old Bromyard so please support us in the venture. Tickets can be bought at the Falcon and also online at Eventbrite – click here.
