American music features strongly in many of our pub music sessions with artists performing American folk, blues, country and bluegrass, either exclusively or in conjunction with other styles.

There was a time when it might have been frowned upon to “dilute” our tradition with songs from across the pond but fortunately those days are largely over. Indeed there are so many performers who at least play the odd Bob Dylan number that american music can be found almost everywhere.
